Falcon offense flies high over Brockway

Several seniors had big nights as the Falcons rolled up a 35 point victory over Brockway. Tim Thomas rushed for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns on 22 carries while Zach Buckler added 121 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 9 carries. In the air Eric Babcock had a big night going 8-12 with 129 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Both of those touchdown passes went to Senior split end, Nate Minor who had 3 receptions for 71 yards. These were the first career touchdowns for Buckler and Minor as well as the first career touchdown passes for Babcock.

While the offense was flying high, the defense had to over come a quick first quarter touchdown drive by the Rovers. The young Rover offense had success early but once the Falcon defense got to see their high flying, spread offense in action, they settled down and were able to limit the Rover success. They were able to score two more times but they were unable to keep up with the Falcon scoring frenzie.

The Falcons will now face an AML South Rival in the Curwensville Golden Tide Friday night at Coudersport. Curwensville come's into the third game of the season with an identical 2-0 record just as the Falcons. The Tide defeated Port Allegany in game 1 23-8 and dismantled Otto Eldred 48-12 this past Friday night. Kick off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
