We're getting better every week! The workforce up front once again did the job Friday night versus a tough, physical Ridgway front line. If we cut down some untimely mistakes, we score maybe two more touchdowns as we were able to run and throw the ball. We'll need much more of the same thing this week.
Here we go again! Cameron County comes into Coudersport this week sitting at 4-0 while we are at 3-1. Sounds a little like last year but, we had to go to Cameron. This year they come to OUR HOUSE!
We will need to slow down one of the districts best running backs, Andy Lippert. According to MaxPreps, he's averaging 133 yards per game and is second to only Ricky Pearsall from ECC in the District. Cameron also has a tough, aggressive defense that makes teams work to move the football.
It will really come down to our men up front to get the job done this week. We'll have to sustain drives and keep the ball moving and punch it into the endzone everytime we get a chance. There should be a good crowd there as it is homecoming.
As usual, kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Paul Simcoe Filed in CARP. Hope to see you there.
