Week two in local high school football begins tonight, Friday, September 10th. The Falcons travel a little over an hour southwest to take on the Kane Wolves.
Both teams are coming off week one wins; the Falcons over Johnsonburg 35-22 and the Wolves over Otto-Eldred 41-0.
We relied on some big plays on offense and a bend but don't break defense last week against a very solid Johnsonburg team. Kane will be another big test for us. The Wolves are another very solid team with good size on the line and some speed at the skill positions.
Our undersized line will have to be much more physical, aggressive and technically sound if we expect to have success on offense.
Defensively our inexperince really showed last week and we'll have to grow up and learn from last week if we want to slow down the Wolves Offense.
Kick-off time is 7:00 PM Friday night in Kane. Hope to see and hear you all there to root on the Falcons.
