COUDERSPORT AREA SPORTS BOOSTERS

Coudersport Area Sports Boosters is strictly a non-profit organization made up of volunteers residing in the Coudersport or other cooperative school districts.

Established in the 1960's, the Sports Boosters organizaton strives to promote recognition to ALL athletes participating in Coudersport athletic programs. It also promotes good sportmanship and athletic participation among the area's youth. Additionally, it encourages the community to support the entire athletic program..

Purpose: The Sports Boosters promotes the support for ALL school sponsored athletics. In its actions and support of events the Sports Boosters is non-discriminatory. It also provides a vehicle for volunteer members to support the needs of all athletic functions sponsored by the Coudersport Area School.

Concession Stand: Sports Boosters is responsible for the concessions at every home football game, soccer game and track meet. The proceeds from the concession stand and the 50/50's support ALL our athletic programs.

Membership: Voluntary membership requires only that a Sports Booster be a resident of the coudersport or any cooperative school district.

Meeting: Regular monthly meetings are held in the Coudersport High School cafeteria on the fourth Monday of each month August through November and resumes February through May, at 6:00pm.

Contributions: Sports Boosters sponsor the following:

Four $1,000 Scholarships (See school web site for more info)

Varsity Letters and Patches

Trophies, ribbons, etc. for Track Invitational and the Christmas Basketball Tournaments

Sponsor of the yearly Coudersport Sports Boosters Golf Tournament

Provide necessary funds to help in providing of reviewed and approved request of need for ALL sports.

Annual Sports Boosters Awards Night honoring ALL Athletes and Coaches.

Miscellaneous contributions throughout the year that benefit ALL the school sports programs and community sports programs.
